From 7 to 11 September 2026, the University of Münster will host the 118^th Annual Meeting of the German Zoological Society (DZG), which will bring together zoologists from around the world, spanning various taxa, methods, and disciplines.

The event provides a forum for scholars at all career stages to share and discuss their latest findings in zoological research, and features a diverse programme including plenary lectures, contributed talks, poster sessions, satellite symposia and a public talk.

With its historic architecture, green spaces and being home to one of Germany’s largest universities, Münster offers a vibrant and inspiring setting for networking, collaboration and exchange.
